I had a pleasant evening with friends enjoying a meal at the pub. The staff followed the rules and made us feel comfortable. I ordered the Greek Plate, which was tasty, while my friends had steak and risotto, all well-prepared. It was nice to have such enjoyable food after a long day at work. As a family man, I appreciate good dining experiences that I can share with my loved ones.
One of our group's rooms had a toilet issue that caused noise throughout the night, disrupting sleep.

Charming, charming, charming
I had such a delightful stay here! The beer garden was perfect for lounging under the sun, with some shady spots for those hot summer days. The food was truly scrumptious, especially the onion rings – trust me, they’re a must-have! 🍽️

good for a quick stopover
Good location, easy access, and a pleasant vibe as a country pub + B&B. The room had basic amenities, like a private bathroom and flat-screen TV, but the TV was tiny. Breakfast was decent quality. The central heating took a call to get it going, so could've been better with that. Not a bad place for a night or two.

Quaint local vibe
Stopped in after visiting a nearby spot. The beer garden in the back was lovely and perfect for chillin'. The chalkboard menu’s food was delish but took some time to come out. The garlic mushrooms were a highlight! Only one vegan option was a bummer, but I’d definitely swing by again.

The lovely staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making the experience feel like being part of the local community. The BBQ glazed pork was exceptional and became a favorite, prompting a repeat order on the second night. the check-in process was somewhat disjointed, with miscommunication about reservations. some delays in room cleaning caused inconvenience during our stay, though the breakfast offered afterward was of good quality.

Charming rustic character evokes the essence of a classic English pub. Good value on the double room rates lends itself to budget travel without compromising on the authentic atmosphere.
Central heating struggled to keep the room warm, making it a chilly stay. Breakfast options were non-existent, which was a real letdown given the remote location—an advance heads-up would have been nice. The local beer selection left much to be desired. cloudy ales and overcooked meals were disappointing. There’s no evening meal service, so plan ahead if staying in or risk going hungry.
